USO-Metro Awards Dinner

March 24, 2015 - I covered the USO of Metropolitan Washington-Baltimore's 33rd Annual Awards Dinner. It was called Above & Beyond, a special salute to medal of honor recipients. There were lots of guests, VIP's and some celebrities such as Stevie Nicks, Mick Fleetwood, Peyton Manning, Chef Robert Irvine (known well for the TV show Restaurant Impossible), Greg Gadson (from the movie Battleship), and Sebastian Junger. Thank you to all who have served, and those who are serving, including families, friends and volunteers who provide support. It was a special night for me and in recalling my Army experiences, I am proud to have served.
