Washington Kastles VIP Kick-Off Party

June 25, 2014 - In celebration of the start of the 2014 Washington Kastles season from July 9th - July 22nd, more than 90 VIP's, season ticket holders and sponsors gathered at Eno Wine Bar in Georgetown DC. Guests enjoyed wine, cheese and delicious appetizers throughout the evening. Photos and video of Kastles matches were displayed along with informative handouts and merchandise. The King Trophy was on display to reiterate the historic achievements of the Kastles and to hope for another winning season. There was also a treasure of a book displayed called Courting History: A Record-Breaking Season about the 2013 winning season of the Washington Kastles. In looking through the book I was reminded of the coverage of the Kastles matches that I helped provide, and I plan to continue my coverage of their matches.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After three seasons on the Southwest Waterfront and in their journey to capture their fourth straight Mylan World TeamTennis championship, the matches will be moved indoors. The WTT matches will be at the Charles E. Smith Center, a new stadium located on the corner of 22nd and G Streets NW in Foggy Bottom.
