My 2012 Spring/Summer Summary - Autumn Falls In

After being one of the official photographers for covering the Photoshop World conference in Washington DC, things got crazy busy. I'm sure many people can relate to becoming increasingly busier as Spring rolls around and even though there is still work in the Summer for me, it's also a time to try and have more fun and go on vacation. Even if it's just a short trip or a "staycation," I have to do something to keep my life in balance.

I wanted to highlight some activities from Spring and Summer of 2012.

April 7 - Photo Shoot for Ink Cosmetics

April 14, 2012 - Fashion for Paws 6th Annual Runway Show at the National Building Museum in DC

April 25 - Grammys on The Hill at the Liaison Capitol Hill Hotel in DC

April 28 - Redskins Draft Day Party at FedEx Field

May 5 - Gold Cup with Becky's Fund tent

May 14-20 - GI Film Festival (GIFF)

June 10 - Jason & Alesha's Wedding - I had the pleasure of photographing my friend Jason's wedding at Strong Mansion in Dickerson, MD. I've known Jason for a few years and have been there for some important moments in his life, and was glad to be there and capture another important moment.

The Strong Mansion location is an absolutely gorgeous venue to have a wedding and reception. It was a beautiful day, but it was also hot and sunny. It was a wonderful ceremony and it was nice to stay outdoors under a huge tent as the sun set. On this 22nd day of September it's the first day of Autumn. It's great to reflect upon my Spring and Summer and I'm very much looking forward to more activities in the Autumn season.
