Molly Video Behind the Scenes
February 12, 2012 - It was another collaboration between DJ/Producer Cedric Gervais and 8112 Studios and this time it was for a video shoot for the song Molly. Knowing 8112 Studios co-founders Douglas Sonders and Nicholas Cambata and having supported them in covering the behind the scenes of some of their other videos, I was able to cover the behind the scenes of this Molly video shoot. Here are a few photos from that long night of shooting.

Crystal Couture 2012
February 7-11, 2012 - Crystal Couture is a fashion show and trunk sale that brings together over 40 stylish boutiques and designers to give the public a one-stop shopping experience. Guests were able to browse discounted offerings on the rack and on the runway as models showcased the designs of participating boutiques. Guests were also treated to drinks from the bar, free make-up and hair makeovers, chats with fashion consultants, and music from DJ Neekola. The fashion show produced by Maggy Francois. It's an annual fashion community experience.

Fashion for Paws Kick-off
February 6th, 2012 - Fashion for Paws 6th Annual Runway Show Launch Party! This event was hosted & sponsored by The Jefferson Hotel in Washington DC. A nice gathering of the F4P community turned out and so so many people recognized one another. Greetings and conversations abounded.
Prints from past F4P runway shows were seen in a gallery room and appetizers were passed. Thanks to the Jefferson Hotel for hosting and sponsoring this event. Thanks to all who attended.
"This party marks the launch of Fashion for Paws 6th Annual Runway Show web site, ticket/table sales and the model fundraising campaign. More than 90 Fashion for Paws participants will work over the weeks leading up to April 14th to raise the minimum of $5000 to walk the runway at Fashion for Paws and compete in a friendly fundraising competition for WHS. This year our fundraising goal is $625,000 and we have every intention to not only meet this goal, but to surpass it to help the nearly 30,000 animals a year that WHS cares for as well as support the vital programs WHS provides the community such as Humane Education for at-risk youth! We look forward to celebrating this launch with you all and can’t wait to unveil all that our sponsors like Syzygy Event Productions have in store for the main event on April 14th at the National Building Museum!"

Luke's Wings - Fashion Takes Flight
Luke's Wings and Fashion Takes Flight Hits It Out of the Ballpark - On February 4, 2012, the 4th annual high energy fashion show featuring models and military service personnel rocked the Stars and Stripes VIP Club at Nationals Park. Some of the District's freshest talent and retailers were part of a roster which included Streets of Georgetown, Walish Gooshe, Nam Nguyen, Ella Rue and Donovan England. Washingtonians are known for their philanthropic pursuits and fashion has an ever-growing voice in the District, and it's a great lineup in bringing these together to support an organization that assists families of those who serve.
Guests enjoyed the open bars serving Peroni and cocktails by Van Gogh Imports which were crafted specifically for Fashion Takes Flight. Gourmet hors d’oeuvres were passed. Guests mingled among a fashionable crowd in a unique venue in our nation's capital, while listening to tunes ushered out by Deejay Neekola. Heated balconies allowed guests to check out views of the park before and after the runway show. There was also a photobooth and roving photographers capturing the evening. With a donation of $20,000 to cover the event, the ticket sales from the event
