November 9: It was an enjoyable couple days in Miami, yet it was exciting to finally get on the cruise ship. It was an amazing view being on the ship and looking around and seeing the port of Miami. This was my first time on an official cruise on a ship as big as this and before we departed I wanted to take pictures of the ship in port and explore the ship.
It's great having a bunch of friends on a trip like this. It can be a bit challenging to communicate around the ship and it's not always feasible to call people. Once we departed and were cruising away from Miami the weather was getting a bit cloudy, yet it was an opportune time take a picture of the inclement weather against the backdrop of the Miami skyline. Being on a Carnival is to be on a fun ship, and they do what they can to rouse people to loosening up and getting festive, just like the Carnival staff. One of the great things that I had heard about on cruises is their fine dining, and I found it to be plentiful too. It felt appropriate to finish my dinner with a slice of key lime pie.
