Fashion for Paws Kick-off

February 6th, 2012 - Fashion for Paws 6th Annual Runway Show Launch Party! This event was hosted & sponsored by The Jefferson Hotel in Washington DC. A nice gathering of the F4P community turned out and so so many people recognized one another. Greetings and conversations abounded.

Prints from past F4P runway shows were seen in a gallery room and appetizers were passed. Thanks to the Jefferson Hotel for hosting and sponsoring this event. Thanks to all who attended.

"This party marks the launch of Fashion for Paws 6th Annual Runway Show web site, ticket/table sales and the model fundraising campaign. More than 90 Fashion for Paws participants will work over the weeks leading up to April 14th to raise the minimum of $5000 to walk the runway at Fashion for Paws and compete in a friendly fundraising competition for WHS. This year our fundraising goal is $625,000 and we have every intention to not only meet this goal, but to surpass it to help the nearly 30,000 animals a year that WHS cares for as well as support the vital programs WHS provides the community such as Humane Education for at-risk youth! We look forward to celebrating this launch with you all and can’t wait to unveil all that our sponsors like Syzygy Event Productions have in store for the main event on April 14th at the National Building Museum!"
