International Women's Day - Take 5 Boutique Fashion Show

March 7, 2015 - For International Women's Day, Take 5 Boutique and the Washington Turkish Women's Association hosted an event and fashion show to benefit Cagdas Yasami Destekleme Dernegi (CYDD) to enhance contemporary education in Turkey. There was a fashion show of Spring and Summer 2015 exclusive collections by European designers presented.

Take 5 Boutique speaks to the "five essential looks of a woman— Stylish, Chic, Elegant, Modern and Sexy—together inspire Take 5, a clothing boutique of global taste for the cosmopolitan Washington woman." Take 5 Boutique opened on November 11, 2012 and their mission is to blend ancient Asian heritage and culture with European elegance and American comfort for clothing and accessories that stand out. Take 5 Boutique provides selections and exclusive personal style services to ensure that their customers are very well dressed.

The store is more narrow than wide, yet it was still very spacious and was great for having a runway show. The runway didn't need to be elevated. I had four lights set up, one light in each corner of the room, so there was a nice lighting effect on the models and the clothes shown on the runway. There were flower petals placed on the side of the runway and it looked nice and brought the feeling of Spring. It was a chic event and was well attended, including a visit from a princess.
