Art Soiree's Four Year Anniversary Gala

September 15, 2013 - Art Soiree's goal is to showcase emerging talent in the visual arts, short film, music, literature and performance art. They do that by creating a platform for artists to exhibit their talents, cultivate the arts community and share art with guests at their events, and to the world. Based in Washington DC, Art Soiree celebrated their four year anniversary at Malmaison in Georgetown, DC from 8pm to 2am.

Created by Sandro and Tati in September 2009, Art Soiree creates unique and stimulating events that allow guests to experience art and expression. With over 200 exhibitions & events, showcasing over 350 artists of different mediums and genres, they've worked consistently to bring art into life.

Having the gala at Malmaison gave the event an artsy, industrial and yet elegant appeal. Malmaison is a restaurant, lounge and coffee shop on K Street almost underneath the Whitehurst Freeway bridge. The view of Georgetown Waterfront Park and the Potomac River by K Street is enjoyable, especially at night.

Throughout the beautiful night guests and supporters of Art Soiree showed up, mingled and celebrated Art Soiree's four year anniversary. There was a step and repeat in front of Malmaison where guests had their picture taken, and many of them with Sandro. Tati joined in on some of the pictures and was dressed elegantly as usual. Tunes by DJ Adrian Loving kept guests moving. Later in the evening
an anniversary cake was presented. It seemed like everyone joined in watching the candles being blown out, and many people enjoyed a piece of cake and a piece of history with Art Soiree. There is much more art in life to look forward to, and Art Soiree is helping to keep the experience alive.
